What is quinoa? It’s a whole grain that is really good for you! It’s high in protein and contains all 9 amino acids. It’s easy to add to a meal in place of rice or pasta, as I have done in all of these recipes below. Quinoa is much faster to cook than rice and is much healthier than pasta. I also like the texture it adds to the dish.

#1 Healthy Chicken Quinoa Curry: I love making this recipe with my favorite red curry sauce from Trader Joe’s. This dish is one I make regularly because it’s so easy to throw together and is really filling. I also have a seafood version of this, Scallop and Quinoa Curry.

#2 Chicken Quinoa Soup: If you are under the weather, this is the perfect thing! I actually liked it a lot better than the traditional chicken noodle soup. I always feel much better after eating a bowl of this soup.

#3 Tilapia with Quinoa and Feta: I came up with this dish by walking through the grocery store and picking different things to add to quinoa! It turned out great and has resulted in a lot of other versions.

#4 Chicken Quinoa Stir-fry: I love making stir-fry! This recipe also includes a homemade stir-fry sauce that is so good. You could use the sauce for any kind of stir-fry you want.

#5 Italian Tilapia and Quinoa: If you love italian food, this is a great way to get the flavor without all the carbs. It’s also a really quick meal to put together, so it’s perfect for a busy weeknight.
