For over 3 years I’ve been a member of the Influenster team. For those who don’t know, Influenster pairs social influencers (bloggers, FB divas, Instagram superheroes, you!) with brands. They do this in a couple ways. First, there is a VAST database on the Influenster site that allows people to review products they’ve tried. Second, Influenster often puts together sweet boxes of sample or full sized goodies that are shipped out to members for review and discussion!
So, what’s in it for them? Your opinion of course! And what is in it for you? Free products without any weirdo scams that try and sell you a bunch of things. It is as simple as 1, 2, 3.
- Receive a product from Influenster, or buy something you want to try out.
- Share you experience on your blog, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook etc.
The more products a member is involved in reviewing, the more likely they are to keep getting free stuff. Over the years I’ve gotten a bunch of really great things. Most recently I tested this Clay Face Mask and the AMAZING Red Rose Caramel Creme Tea.
Side note. If it weren’t for Influenster, I never would have tried that tea. That tea that is now my favorite tea of all time. That tea, that this month (my 5th month pregnant) I had a cold and needed that tea so badly that I considered buying a case off Amazon. (It isn’t available in stores in my town.)
That tea that my magnificent, wonderful, thoughtful and amazing husband thoughtfully purchased from the company website and surprised me with. That was 4 days ago. I have less than 6 packets of the 20 pack. This is the power of Influenster.
After all of this time reviewing other products (nail polish, hair spray, shampoo, face wash, lotion, chocolate bars – you name it!) Influenster has asked me to review them.
So what is my verdict? 100% would recommend to a friend. In fact, I’m recommending it to all of you. Even if you don’t want to get free stuff and write reviews (but you do, right?) then I still think you should check out the site for reviews on anything you want to buy, and The Hub for amazing products, tutorials, recipes and more.
