Happy Monday! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. I had a great time, with all sorts of ye olde time fun at the Michigan Renaissance Festival. (Pictures to come, I’m sure!) It was a hot weekend, but I got to see the family and dress up like old times. What can go wrong?
What about all of you? What did YOU do this weekend? I’m sure you are all just brimming with insightful posts, clever ideas and amazing projects. Don’t forget to checkout my latest craft: DIY cuticle oil/lotion. And to scroll past the faves to see the party!
Sweet Sharing Monday Most Clicked:
Family Rules Sign – by Jenn at Squishy cheeks and Cupcakes
This sign is just amazing. From the DIY attitude that led to re-purposing some wood into this lovely piece, to the distressing technique and the lovely sentiment. Its no wonder it was the most clicked! My landlord recently had our deck redone, but the serviceman left a pile of the old wood tongue and groove boards behind… I think I might have to copy-cat miss Jenn!
And my Personal Favorite:
Mini Trees – by Frances from My Laughing Lion
I’m totally in a whimsical mood from the Renaissance Festival, and this hits the spot! I’ve seen these adorable mini-trees at crafts shows over the years, but I’ve never bought one. I’m putting this idea in my back pocket for a SUPER awesome FALL project I have going in in my head right now. If it works- I can’t wait to share it! Thank you SO MUCH Frances for the tutorial and the inspiration!!

Good morning! I am determined to rid my home of harmful toxins and wanted an alternative to store bought laundry products. I have come up with a Homemade Laundry Softener (# 56) that only needs two ingredients and is super cheap to make yourself. Enjoy!
