Happy Monday everyone! This weekend has been blustery for us, raining and blowing, switching from 45 - 70 degrees in two days. Ah Michigan. So, we've laid low for the weekend, staying in as much as we can. I did get some craft supplies and got quite a few done. I've got some even bigger plans in the works for later though ;D
There is no denying that the Holiday Season is creeping up upon us. Today I filled my house with the scent of Pumpkin Pie making Pumpkin Granola. It. Is Heavenly. (Plus not bad in the hips & thighs department, if you catch my drift.)
The party is after the features!!

Healthy or Not by Robin at Thank Your Body
This one is right up my alley this week. I think most of us are aware of the Pinterest conundrum. That place is 30% Diet/fitness and 60% Unhealthy food. Recently, a more dangerous niche has been growing. This one claims to be "good for you" or "healthy" or "natural". Meanwhile is anything but. For me, I don't have the time to sort through and determine which- if any- of those recipes/pins live up to their name. Robin has been so kind to highlight a couple formulations that we would do better to avoid.
And my Personal Favorite:
Forever Autumn Tealight - by Karen at Quinton Wench
I'm not going to lie, the thumbnail for this one on the linky party just reached out and grabbed me. I've been all about doing projects with leaves lately- and this one is SO EASY! Not to mention it can be dressed down and used at a family gathering or a work function- or dressed up and used at a wedding or a swanky cocktail party. This method has so many applications is amazing! Karen has a multitude of awesome things on her blog- go check her out!
