Spooky Time!

Since I’ve been posting a lot about all of my Halloween decorations and getting all sorts of great ideas from tons of places, I’ve decided to share my final results. (I say final, but I know that between now and Oct 31 I will add to this collection.)

First up are some table decorations I’ve put together. I designed the labels, and the straw tags but the pumpkins were inspired by a How-To (see this post). That spooky looking book is an old 1950s scrap book. I bought it at a junk shop because it had HUNDREDS of magazine clippings in it, all featuring recipes from the 1950s! The eyeball jar is just dollar store eyeballs in a dollar store vase with some icky colored water!

Next is the full thing all pulled together on my mantel. Our house is over 100 years old and it has a lot of spooky charm as is. So, I collected my various spooky works and used them to decorate my non-functional fireplace.
