Let’s just start off with my mom is awesome. I’m not bragging or anything, its just a fact. When I was little (and an only child at the time) she planned a Valentine’s Day party for my class. As part of her plans, she hand made bingo cards for each one of us. Without a computer/printer that meant painstakingly drawing candy hearts on each one. I don’t remember playing the game that year, but I remember how hard my mom worked and how proud I was of her. It became the inspiration for my Conversation Hearts Bingo.
Since then, whenever I think of kid’s holiday parties, I think of themed bingo. It is a simple, easy to play and well known game that usually ends in candy. What is there not to like!? I’ve made this easy, printable St. Patrick’s Day version that the kiddies in your life are sure to love!!
There are 10 different bingo cards and matching calling cards. The words are all St. Patrick’s Day themed and would make great vocabulary words too! I opted to use my DIY Clover “altoid” mints as bingo chips, but regular bingo chips, a different type of candy, or even a marker on laminated cards would work.
All there is left to do is print and use them! I hope these little fellas bring you some luck this year!!
This post is a part of Luck of the Irish Week between myself and some of my dearest bloggy friends!! Please don’t forget to see what THEY’VE made for your St. Patrick’s Day Pleasure!!
