I make a lot of crafts, and I like them all. Every once in awhile though, I find one that I love. This “bone” vase that I made for Curbly is definitely one of them. It has a special place on my desk and I enjoy looking at it every day.
It starts with a plastic planter, and some run of the mill art supplies. The “bone” vase is made in a pretty unusual way; I make and destroy it twice before the final piece is ready. I know, that sounds rather like a waste of time, but it is the only way to reach the end result with the materials I used. Intrigued? I hope so. Check out the full tutorial on Curbly!
