Happy Tuesday! Its such a nice day over here- although its over 100 degrees. (That is UNHEARD of in Michigan). I think I might have to hit the beach. How are things for everyone? I hope the week is treating all of my wonderful readers well. I think we all could use just a little more joy these days.
On that note- on to the faves!
#1 Mario Brothers Quilt – by Karen at The Recipe Bunny
AAAH! If I had any quilting skill at all, I would make one of these. Doubtless it would not be as cool as this one is. Karen totally rocked this quilt! My hubby would love something like this, as we’re both old school game nerds. Come to think of it, the pixel based graphics from Mario made it a great candidate for quilting, but it’s the determination and time of a very skilled person who brought this to life. SO COOL!
#2 Fake Tattoo Sleve – by Kami at NoBiggie
Every Halloween these tattoo sleeves crop up. There are super cool in a generic, tattooed kind of way. What I like about what Kami has done here is the customizability. Hubby and I costume pretty often. We have SteamPunk, Pirate, and several Renaissance costumes. I could definitely see these for the Pirate costumes. Also, I wonder if you could use a very large size hose and make a sleeve that would cover a girls tummy & back? I could do some elaborate back tattoo and take a pic to send my mom. Man she would just die. :::snicker:::
Thank you both so much for being awesome. And for those reading for being AWESOME readers! Oh! And grab a button to show off!
