This week has been a wistful one. After months of being calorie conscious I’ve been REALLY craving some indulgent sweets. Also, as it edges ever closer to summer (which appears to be coming unwillingly here in Michigan) my head’s been dreaming of new furniture, adorable tea-scapes, fantastic new home decor and out-door parties. This wistfulness I’m sure has been compounded by all the beautiful things going around my readers, Pinterest, and general Google searches this week. So here they are! My 5 favorites!
#1 3D Paper Diamonds – By Kate on Minieco
I’m always falling in love with the paper projects over at MiniEco. They are always so refreshingly geometric and simple. These beautiful paper diamonds are no exception! The template is clear and looks easy to follow- but stay tuned because as soon as I get a spare second I’m going to create a cut file to go along with Kate’s beautiful project!
#2 Lemon Cream Crumb Bars – by Amber at Dessert Now, Dinner Later
I mentioned my longing for dessert this week. These lemon crumb bars just added to that temptation. =D I love lemon in pretty much any dessert. In my opinion it serves to cut some of the sweetness, and next to chocolate its my favorite flavor. I haven’t made these bars yet, but just the look of them makes my mouth water. Next chance I get to pawn these off on other people (you see, while I might like to eat one or two, I need someplace to give away the rest of them.)
#3 Check Your Pockets Craft – by Angie on Burton
Not only is the idea of the craft SO SMART, but Angie has included the cut file you would need to duplicate it! My hubby is always leaving things from his pockets on any available flat surface. I can imagine making this and putting it by the door, next to a key hook. It would be a come home drop of point.
#4 Hair Tool Organizer – by Angie at Hating Martha
What can I say, I’m like a whirlwind when I get ready in the morning. I really *would* like to clean up after myself but I’m usually in a rush and also all of my hot hair tools need time to cool. This project seems to solve at least one of those issues. I also like the idea of having my flat and curling irons out and ready to use easily. I’m putting this one on my to-do list!
#4 Nightstand Makeover – by Vanessa at Nifty Thrifty Things
These bedside tables are just adorable. Add in the fact that they are upcycled and I’m already drooling! I really love the style and the vision Vanessa had for how they would end up. The paper liner is an extra special touch that could easily be changed for an update with new decor. =D
Thank you everyone for your beautiful additions you make each week to the blogosphere. Thank you for all of your hard work, for documenting your projects, for sharing them with the world. Oh! And grab a button to show off!

Hi
Could you possibly share the cut file for Kate’s 3d paper Diamonds?
Thanks
Sorry Mark – doesn’t look like she made one. Bummer!
