Its the M day again! That dreaded begining of another work/school week I hope that all of you made the most of your weekend. We went downtown to watch over 20,000 lanterns be lit and take off. They were handed out for free, and we all launched them together. It was so amazing. Sometimes I am so proud to live in Grand Rapids.
Oh, and don’t forget to check out my latest post – a little something for Mommy during the upcoming busy season! Hectic mommy makeover.

Metal Stamping Tips by Rena at Jewelry Making Journal
I have been really interested in metal stamping lately. Especially some of the really amazing things people have done with washers. I picked up some great letter stamps, but these tips have really helped me in getting my act together. Rena gives tips for organizing, keeping your letters straight, and darkening the impression. This is a must see for us metal stampers!

Ink Pad Storage – by The Crafty Blog Stalker
Um, I’ve only got about 8 inkpads, but I think I need to do this. That way, I can get a bunch *more* inkpads. That’s logical right? My husband will buy that excuse- right? Seriously, this is a GREAT idea! I wonder if it would work with all inkpads, or if you should have one brand to make it all work. Using ordinary objects in a new way to solve organization problems is always an A in my book!

Added a link for “DIY: Baby Care Products”. Doesn’t get more easy, economical or natural than this!

I’m sharing recipes I am making with what’s coming out of the garden. We just had our first frost so the acorn squash are curing getting ready to be stored. I love stuffing them and I shared a recipe I concocted using the wild rice my sister sends me from the Canadian border.
Also a recipe for stuffed tomatoes. This is a wonderful brunch or side dish recipe. Tons of flavor and a way to celebrate farm fresh eggs and tomatoes!
Thanks for hosting!
I also host a link party called Eat Make Grow where folks can share their DIY projects, recipes and garden strategies. I hope you’ll come share with us too!
