Well, its been one heck of a weekend here in Grand Rapids. We’re experiencing 100 year highs in the grand river, flooding is rampant downtown and there are sand bags everywhere. Its been a nerve wracking experience to say the least. Power is off and on as the river is touching some of the major bridges with power cables running through them. I’ve cut back on cleaning, etc so to conserve water and save room in the sewers for drainage. I did manage to make my DIY picture frame though- and it looks good!
So, I’m a little preoccupied but I think the worst is over. Now just waiting for the water to recede. How about you- what you are up to?

How to Organize Basement Storage
You know, sometimes you just need to see someone else succeed at something to give you that extra motivation. Nothing Krysta did in her basement was new (labels for totes, planning where things will go, etc). But the fact is SHE DID IT! While many of us keep putting that sort of thing off. What an inspiration!!
And my Personal Favorite:
You know we’re going to be in our New House soon. (I’ve created a new category just for house based projects) and one of the rooms I have planned is kinda rustic. I saw this thumbnail in the linky and HAD to see how she did it! She’s got a lot of little details in the tutorial and the end result is amazing! Way to go Donna!
