It’s that time again!! I’m having a blast with my Brother in Law and his long time girlfriend, hanging out in our house! Sometimes its really nice to have company. I’m discovering my own city, instead of taking everything for granted. =D sometimes you need a fresh perspective.

Anyway, we’re still working on the dunebuggy. Hope to have it up and running soon! I’m sure you’re all just DYING to find out how it ends up, so I’ll be sure to post updates.

Now, I’m sure most of you weren’t hanging out in GR with my brother in law, so what HAVE you been up to? Make anything awesome. Just kidding, I know you did. So let’s see it!

Using Old Window frames in Decor by Couches and Cupcakes

I love the look of frames in decor. Over a year ago I posted a faux version because my plaster walls wouldn’t support the weight of a window. I’m still using it, and I’d love to add one of these to the mix!

And my Personal Favorite:

How to Pipe a Rose Swirl by Emmalilyallsorts

 I am not the best at piping, but I dud recently buy a star tip. I find that globbing frosting on with it is a marked improvement over the butterknife glob method. But THIS looks pretty! I might even be able to pull this off based on the pictures!
