Its starting to feel like the seasons are changing! Today has a high of 60 here, and there are already leaves falling. I’ve been begging hubby to make some Roasted Acorn squash, and I even bought the ingredients for Chai ice cream. I’m craving fall like its going out of style.
In prep for the harsher months I developed a new face moisturizer. This one is a little more heavy-duty than my regular DIY moisturizer. It should be good for chapping.
I’ve decided to bring back an old segment, “Who I want to be Wednesday.” It is a more personal touch compared to my typical tutorials. So far it is focusing on my decision to start running, and take responsibility for my health.
Okay! Show me what you’ve got!!
Just FYI- since I love you all so much, I wanted to let you know I’m going to make a deliberate effort to promote the posts in the party more on my social media outlets. You deserve all the attention I can give you!!

A Bittersweet Goodbye by The Narrow Lens
This week Kimberly shared a touching story of inspiration and loss. I’ve never met Andrew, or Kimberly. But my work with The Salvation Army has allowed me to hear many stories like his. I am happy that he was able to make some new friends, and I hope to spend this week in hopeful remembrance of suffering and mercy.
This link was not only the most clicked, it was my personal favorite as well.

Kayla, thank you so much for highlighting my post, “A Bittersweet Goodbye” as the most clicked! I am humbled and grateful that Andrew is able to touch more people through his passing. I thought I had posted a thank you comment earlier, but I don’t see it, so I wanted to be sure to let you know that I am so thankful for the spotlight and that you enjoyed my story. Love linking up to the party each week! 🙂
