Tricksy Tip Thursday – Bad Brown Sugar

Hard brown sugar is a pain. Instead of using a chisel every time you need it, store a slice of bread with the sugar over night. The sugar will absorb moisture from the bread, and be soft by morning!

  1. I was told once a long time ago to just keep brown sugar in the freezer. I’ve been doing this for quite some time and it works like a charm. Just microwave it in the microwave for 1 minute or less, get what you need out of bag and then re-freeze.
