Whew! for most of the United States, its one blustery, windy and rainy Tuesday. For me at least, its just rain- maybe some snow later on. I can’t help but worry for and pray for all of those more impacted by Hurricane Sandy. I hope that all of you out there in the bloggosphere are safe.
It’s been crazy busy around here, prepping for the inlaws coming over. We’ve got a big feast planned – I’ve shared one of the recipes, Roasted Acorn Squash and Chai Ice Cream. Hubby’s making rolls and roasting a chicken. Cross your fingers for us, because this weekend is going to be crazy!

What a wonderful flower pot! I use to love playing with crackle when I was younger! (My mom used it on crafts she sold so it was always around).
Seeing that kind of inspired me to work on some things next Spring to make the outside a little more decorative around here 🙂
