Happy First Monday of Autumn! Can you believe that we are already ¾ of the way through with 2012? I feel like I am just now becoming used to writing 2012 on my checks… and 2013 is fast approaching! I for one am meeting it with a mixture of joy and apprehension. These upcoming 3 months are my favorite of the year- but they are BY FAR the busiest. That said, I can’t wait!!
Anyhoo, I’m sure all of you are brimming with fantastic projects to share, having been upber productive last week. Right? Yeah? I thought so ;D Don’t forget to have a look at MY latest craft Ikea Lamp Makeover!
The party is after the features!!

Drawing on Glass by Aimee at Twigg Studios
I love this super-cute idea! Aimee uses the transparency of glass and a few markers to make exquisite designs on old window panes. My first thought is that these are SO darling!! I love the way a window pane art allows the wall color to come through while still adding a bit of interest. In this way, they don’t clutter up small wall spaces. Also, I’m thinking this could easily be done with my fake dollar store window pane from poster frames from the FauxWindow Art post!
And my Personal Favorite:
Pumpkin Cream Cheese Spread – by Aimee at Barns & Noodles
Whoa- two Aimees this week. Totally not intentional. Anyhoo- I am so excited to try this! I absolutely love the fall taste for pumpkin. The trouble is, I don’t particularly care for pumpkin pie. (I know- gasp!) This spread, however, seems to have infinite possibilities. I’m thinking of having it on crunchy shortbread cookies- or on ginger snaps. Oh! A reverse pumpkin roll with this as the cream and a blonde cake as the roll! Oh my, the possibilities!!
