Have you ever been so engrossed in a project that when its over you feel like you’ve walked out of the shadow and into the sun? That’s where I am at right now. The past 2 weeks have been super crazy for me, as I was responsible for not only the invitations, programs, and banners for a HUGE highfalutin event (With Laura Bush, Charlotte Jones Anderson and the like in attendance) but 12 days before the event I was put in charge of ALL the decor.

So, I started from nothing, and this is a bit of what we came up with. I wasn’t at the actual event, so cell phone pics of the set up will have to do!

Well, the event was over this past week and I am free again! Its so nice to be home before the sun sets!

How cool and easy is this upcycle!? She recycled an old tank top with some awesome fabric to make this super cute dress. I’ve got a couple of tanks that have gotten all stretched out on the bottom, this might be a new lease on life for them!!
