Well, it is that time of year again. Suddenly the mornings are crisp and cool, the evenings are downright chilly and the smell of the air is no longer permeated by humidity, freshly cut grass or hot pavement. Instead there are aromas of crisp leaves, of cinnamon and apple.
It is a new season. Some call it Autumn, or Fall, or Harvest-Time. I call it apple season. Hubby and I love to go to the local apple farms and pick our own gigantic bushels each year. We are typically uncreative about using them (a pie here or there, but mostly raw as snacks), but there are endless possibilities when it comes to this red, shiny fruit.
I’ve collected 15+ (I’m adding as I find them!) Easy or innovative, new or classic ways to use apples. I hope to try at least 10 of these apple recipes this year!
